OS with Artists

josef, i think OS might not prevail... good idea or not. BUT... i
think that your purpose might prevail... that is, when things or
people decide to be different, then they will start asking more about
getting together... a theme, wish, purpose statement will emerge and
you can say "yes, i know how we can do this."

i was glad to see that pat has already connected you with bill
cleveland. there are others on the list here who've done things, in
london iwth theatre folks, for instance, stephen powell and phelim
____, who might be a help... not by how they "did" it ...but just
*that* they did it. what's most important, i htink, is that the
artists you're talking with, and the ones they're talking with, know
that it's *possible* to get everyone together to do amazing things.
then the question becomes not about open space, but "what do you
suppose might happen if we all got together to do our most amazing
work?" or something like that. it's an "i wonder..." sort of thing.
so the real invitation is to wonder, rather than to attend an OS
meeting... and if enough people start wondering, a space is bound to
open, OS or not.
