mythology at work?

here is a report on body counts and such at the superdome... not as
gruesome as you might guess, if you've been watching the news from the
first days... seems that rather than hundreds of bodies at the dome,
there were six.  none of them murders.  bad things happened, for sure,
but not on anything near the scale as was reported, even from police
chief and mayor.  seems a high-speed version of mythology at work,
tipped in a negative direction, for sure, but the dynamics of story
and media seem worth noticing in light of our work with myth in
organization.
