SV: Europeans - living democracy

Dear Thomas and Gabriela and everyone out there!
Thank you for joining and supporting the idea of Dreams of Europe - and
OS-day all over Europe.
Within the next week I (and to danish fellows) will apply for financial
support from a danish board (eu-naevnet). We will apply for a danish OS with
200 participants in the cityhall of Copenhagen and for an Online OS aswell
for danish and other european participants. How much do we have to apply for
the online part gabriela?
And for a website where to announce and document all activities.
Then we will invite everybody to join us - it could be OS-hosts or
organisations or networks or... - everybody can arrange it and find their
own financial model.
I will try to fin some all-over EU-financing, but due to the selforganizing
of OS my guess is that just an invitation will be enough.
Let make this come true!

regards

Lise
Copenhagen

Dear Lise,

how wonderful to hear that you still plan such European wide OST day! I have
very good memories about your session during the OpenSpace-Online conference
last July. Like Thomas I would love to join you to support this wonderful
dream. I would be interested in strengthen these activities and its effects
complementary ... by helping to organize an OpenSpace-Online conference
across whole Europe regarding the same topic. Imagine, if all books of OST
proceedings (from different countries/cities) plus the proceedings from an
European wide online event are available for all participants (or whoever is
interested). This could be a good role model for further European activities
and for lively democracy based on the principles of Open Space. I think that
the EU could become very interested in seeing more of such innovative
activities ("national AND cross-country at the same time") and maybe
interested in supporting it. What do you think, dear Lise?

Best regards,
Gabriela

Actually the CD was called "Growing our Now" (so as not to create =
copyright
problems with my publisher). The label was Narada - but I don't imagine =
you
will find it in your CD stores. But NARADA may still have it. The best =
part
about the whole thing was the joy and delight of working with Michael =
Jones
(Who just happens to be a Canadian pianist of some major note). We did =
the
whole thing on one "take" and it was all "improv." Immodestly, I think =
it is
pretty good. Never hit the top of the charts - but you win some and lose
some.

Hi--

This comes to you from the OSonOSinUS in San Antone.
The weather is fantastic, and the conversations are
even greater.

Today Sheila Isaakson did a wonderful job of opening
and closing the space for our first day. Tomorrow I am
set to open and close.

The question: Sheila used the closing she and I
learned from Harrison and others: everybody stand,
look around the circle to meet each others' eyes, turn
around in place, take one step out with these
wonderful people behind you.

So as to give people a taste of something different, I
am hoping you can give me ideas of other closings that
have worked well for you....

Thanks!

               :-Doug. Germann
