flip charts

Some long time ago, I did an Open Space for 3M. Wasn't very big, or terribly
important (at least as the company saw it), but it was Open Space. As you
know, I like post-its - 3X5 variety and I used them. But for flip charts, I
used standard flip charts in the usual way. I heard a couple of the young
engineers saying something like, "We can do this." I thought they were
talking about doing an Open Space, but not long after I ran into the
super-sized Post-its. Can't say there was a direct connection - but maybe.
At least, one of the participants in the 3M OS sent me a complementary
package. I tried the product, and am embarrassed to say that I really didn't
like it. Problem was, the things stuck to everything. And like Michael, I
like to tear flip chart sheets into quarters for the Issue Papers. The gummy
part makes that approach a real downer. So this old curmudgeon is sticking
with the non-sticky original. Too bad, 'cause 3M might have paid me a nice
endorsement fee :-)

Hi Erich
You can use the charts (mounted on cardboard frame) on the back of a chair,
the floor or on a conventional flip chart stand. Each sheet tears off and
has a sticky back to go straight onto the Community Wall. They are made by
3M.
Cheers
Kerry
