I have been reading the responses to this question with great respect -

Chris - you mention "themes" -- I also see this as an "invitation".

By the way, my experience (limited to the US) is that when power
differentials were an issue for participants it showed up as a topic or
as part of several topics in the market place.

My experience is international -- and what I've seen is the same.
Interestingly often the power differentials come up after the sessions have
started.  And many are posted and not discussed.  I remember two young women
coming out arm in arm in an intergenerational OST I did around Community
Visioning -- they marched right up to me and confirmed they could still post
a topic and then wrote down:  YOUTH:  Give up the Stereotyping!
