Open Space Learning Workshop

Making Connections, 21st Century Leadership Center at St. Mary's
University and Alamo Labor Properties invite you to this workshop --
part of their Building Block Series:
"A Colloquium on Open Space Technology: Bringing Life into Organizations
. and Organizations Back to Life"
The Building Block Series is a pioneering approach to the development of
foundational and organizational leadership. Our focus is to bring
cutting-edge proven techniques and strategies designed to be catalysts
that have long lasting positive effects within organizations and the
community.
Please join us for this workshop teaching the method for convening
people called Open Space Technology.
The workshop is primarily open to members of this collaborative but
there may be a few openings available specifically for individuals from
other non-profit organizations in the San Antonio, Texas region.
Workshop participants will experience an Open Space and learn how to
design, prepare hosts or clients, coordinate and facilitate the meeting
and help organizations or communities support the actions and momentum
that come out of the meeting. This experiential workshop will include
everything from planning, preparation and design to logistics, talking
with sponsors/clients, developing invitations and themes, recording
proceedings, event follow-up, 'what-ifs' and anything else participants
will wish to share or ask about.
Pre-reading for this workshop is Harrison Owen's book "Open Space
Technology: A User's Guide".
