How do you live in open space?

Dear all--

Based on all the super stimulating and inspiring discussions going on in
this list, I wondered whether anyone has ever thought of creating a book
with all the OS insights, stories, experiences, Q&A shared here...
Can you imagine what a useful resource and a fun read that would be for
all the OS practitioners all over the globe?

Doug -- I agree the responses to your question have been stimulating,
not to
say inspiring. Perhaps you would be willing to gather them all together
and
post them on www.openspaceworld.org for those people who may not have
saved
them or for others that may come down the road at a later date. Taken
collectively, I think those responses constitute an important piece of
the
OS Tradition, very much in the manner of the Non-User's Guide that
Michael
Herman and Chris Corrigan put together some years ago.

Alan--

Have a good moving experience, Alan.

The replies from everyone have given me much to ponder. I have saved
them
all and will re-read them many times, for they are heartening for me.

What do you do when someone tries to close down the space around you in
a
meeting? I've recently had the experience of someone wanting to see
anything others said as a competition or a threat. She even took upon
herself to rescind a decision made by the group! Any thoughts on keeping
space open in such meetings and in life in the face of such?

                              :-Doug.
                              Who's making a difference?
