I'm aware this is a bit off open space's circle, but then as open space 2004 was in Goa, I am taking the chance that there may be sufficient overlaps in networks etc for you to be happy with one post. If you have individual questions , I'm at wcbn007 at easynet.co.uk

... writing to check that you have the news of the extraordinary first conference for Nomads being celebrated at the Indira Gandhi National Centre (New Delhi) April 21-24, registration by March 15. It must have been a huge undertaking for Mr Ganesh Devy of Bhasha Research and his network, teams, friends to have got to this stage where : Nearly 35 Performance Groups, and 500 artists and craftspersons will showcase their arts 1500 delegates, representing Indigenous and Nomadic peoples will participate in discussions.

I have put the details that I have received all in one link
http://nomadworld.blogspot.com/

... please could you relay it on if there is a possibilility that this news hasnt reached those who would want to know about this extraordinary event

sincerely
chris macrae
