Hello again!

OS-list didn´t have them anyway. Feel free to contac me or Gerard
(gm at openspace.dk) for your copy. I will also paste the invitation into this
email (but not as nicely). Please let us know if you´d like a registration
form sent. (I try to attach it again maybe it´s small enough to pass
through??)
Regards Thomas

Genuine Peace will never be attained with the elimination of chaos,
confusion and conflict. In fact all three are essential to the continuance
of life. Without chaos, there is no open space for future possibilities.
Without confusion, old ideas and ways of thinking stick around well beyond
their time. And without conflict, ideas and approaches fail to reach their
full potential, never having been sharpened in the intense conversation of
critical assessment. Peace of the sort that brings wholeness, harmony and
health to our lives only happens when chaos, confusion and conflict are
included and transcended.
- Harrison Owen, creator of Open Space Technology

3-5 of Dec. 2004, Mölnlycke, Sweden

The Practice of Peace is the conscious application of the power of
self-organization to the healing of our fragmented world. It has nothing to
do with "designing self-organizing systems," which is an obvious
contradiction in terms. The Practice of Peace is the creation and sustenance
of the essential preconditions of self-organization. And the core of The
Practice of Peace is Open Space Technology.

Whether in the workplace or the world, Open Space expands the field of
possibilities for peace. This self-organizing gathering invites you to
participate in sharing tools and knowledge for the practice of peace -
within organizations and communities; between segments of society, nations
and individuals; and even peace within ourselves.

By the conclusion of this program you should be able to
* Understand the essential role of chaos in Open Space and in the life of an
organization.
* Enable the creative power of emerging new order by letting go of the old
(order).
* Facilitate and support the organization as it engages the process of grief
at work (Griefwork).
* Celebrate and sustain the new Spirit of an organization.
* Perceive the critical opportunities and empathize with the pain in the
moments of transformation.
* Engage in the full Practice of Peace
* Understand the function of Leadership as being different than positional
power.
* Maximize your own power of leadership at the junction of passion and
responsibility.
* Engage your own role as Peacemaker, including the critical and difficult
role of Silent Witness.

WHO IS INVITED?
* Leaders interested in peace in their organizations, communities and the
world
* Mediation, conflict resolution, organizational and other specialists
interested in practical ways to help organizations and communities to be
successful in complex and turbulent times
* Activists and community leaders wishing to involve a wide variety of
stakeholders
* Anyone interested in learning more about bringing peace into the world,
organization or to him or herself.
* Anyone using Open Space Technology as a facilitator or leader.

If you are new to Open Space Technology you might consider joining the
workshop on Dec 2nd and 6th focusing on working with Open Space Technology.
