OS in Healthcare and Terminology

Joe,

I've used OS here in the UK for the National Health Service. Two hospitals
were in the process of integrating their services and I designed and
facilitated a series of meetings (events, gatherings ...) in which
stakeholders explored the issues. One of these meetings was an OS thingy.

I don't think there's an answer to your "What to call it?" question. I've
tried using meeting, event, gathering, forum and probably a few other terms.
Each has an upside and a downside. At the moment I'm using "meeting" for a
gathering of any size in which people come together to get something done.
No pushback so far!

Wishing you success and satisfaction,

Martin
