Yes, and today I am getting even more tired of it. At least two campaigns
called, despite the fact that we are on both the national and state do not
call lists. Now perhaps those don't apply to campaigners, but I'd sure want
to check the list, so I did not rile up anyone!

Oh well, just have to put up with it for a few more days...

I think your idea of silence before the election resonates with many people.
 I forwarded it to my son, who replied that he had been turning off the
radio
and TV, and would be filling out his absentee ballot this weekend.   A
friend
with whom I shared the thought suggested that maybe it is time we go to a
two-week campaign, as they have in England.

As for me, I will be very glad when the pre-election noise is over.
