OS and the creative process

For me, writing a poem is very much a process of opening space and seeing who
or what shows up.   If it is a poem with any value at all, some of what comes
will be a surprise.   I need to listen to what wants to be said, get it down
on paper, and then polish is a bit.   But the images have as much diversity
and liveliness as any roomful of OST participant.
