using OS in convergence

Hi Joelle and others!
One more question occured to me yesterday as I was thinking about the mechanics of using OS to do convergence and action planning. Before "runners" (champions) are identified, do you have people group the similar topics together? I would imagine this would be necessary so that similar topics were not competing in terms of the group's passion.
