typing their own notes...

The conversation has gone beyond this, but I have no trouble getting
executives to type their own notes.  This is especially true if the
theme is about executive issues, something for which they have a
passion.  A recent Executive Team met in Open Space to develop their
next strategic directions (directions for Executive Leadership which is
not the whole organization.)  They were only 13 but they certainly
wanted to type their own notes as they and the CEO would use them for
deciding what was of priority for Executive Team attention.  They wanted
to get it right!  They did, they loved it and now two more Open Space
events at various levels in the organization are happening with likely
more to come - to engage energy on key directions.
