Continuity of week-apart sessions?

Doug--

If the participants are going to be different, or some different
participants, on the different weeks, I might have people post each time,
sort of put everyone on an equal footing at the start of the meeting.

Given the complexity of the design, I'd be inclined to keep the theme simple,
and the same from week to week. Of course, within that theme (or outside
it!) participants are going to post sessions on whatever is on their minds.
But I have often seen the conversations become deeper as the meeting or
meetings go on--and that seems to hold true even if the participants in the
meetings are not the same. Don't fully understand this phenomenon, but I
have observed it often enough to believe it.

Will reports from the earlier sessions be available to those who participate
only in the later ones? This would help, I think, to move the discussions
forward, so people do not re-invent the same wheel at each meeting.

An interesting project to mull over! And a valuable topic--I wish you the
best of fortune with this.

Joelle
