How explain/demonstrate OS to Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, etc.?

Wow! What a loving, inclusive, embracing response you have each given me
from all around the world! How can I begin to thank you?

Elena--OK, I will just make it, too!

Ralph--Did you have them post topics?

Lisa--What a way you have of evoking pictures and sounds and the tactile
senses (a basket in the center--I hadn't thought of that! I just throw it
all on the floor!). And then you made me laugh out loud with your
hope-giving "And as you have the amazing ability to just jump into new
experiences and fly, dear Doug, I know you'll enjoy the experience however
you approach it." Thank you many times over, Lisa. There is much meat in
what you said and it will take a few more readings....

Brian--the legendary Brian I have been hearing about--you have made me feel
at home with "whatever happens" in this new venue.

Michael Herman--we can always count on you for a third way! Thanks.

Reinhard--It would be wonderful! Now if someone could teach me how to draw
so someone else could get anything out of it.... <grin>

What I thus far think I will do is a mixture of what I have been hearing
here: see if I can get them into a circle, give them some paper and
markers, put up some posters, find a blank wall, and then encourage them to
talk about what is seriously important in this community to discuss about
seniors and healthcare and well-being. Bet we get some good topics. And
then end with "Are there topics here you would be excited about discussing
at these upcoming meetings?"

For after all, I'd like to get a couple of them to participate in the
events!

Thanks.

Anybody got anything else I could find not to do?
