by the way:
I`m living for some weeks at our andalusian place in spain,
which is a little village passed through by a formerly
formed dry river-bed  una rambla secca.
thanks g-d, we had some days and nights of rain,
a very heavy rain last night and today is the first time
since 14 years that the river is flowing again coming
down from the nearby mountains. we are all very glad about.

Jennifer,

I know that some people on the list will say that there's no need to do
anything to get people ready for Open Space, but I think it's sometimes
called for.

The only comment I have about your proposed text is "I want you to close
your eyes". "I want you" is a little directive. And there are those, like
me, who prefer to do their visioning with their eyes open. So how about:
"You can, if you wish, close your eyes ..."

Oh, and ther bit where you say "What are they doing?  What are they
saying?" - maybe you might add "hearing" and "feeling" for people who think
with their ears and bodies.
