Dear collegues,

15 October 2003

Friends and Colleagues,

We commend you for your important work for positive
change in Haitian
society. And we are pleased to invite you to
participate with us in an
exchange which will take place Friday, December 19,
2003 on the theme:
“How
can we use education to build a peaceful society?”

We will begin at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 3:00 p.m. The
gathering will
take
place in the community medical center of Dabòn which
is called “Centre
de
mèdecine communautaire de Darbonne.”

If you do not live in the Leogane area and wish to
come the evening
before
the gathering (December 19, 2003) Rasin Lespwa (Roots
of Hope) will
provide
a place for you to stay in the center.

Cost for participation:
Participation for the day only: 50 goudes
Participation for day and overnight on December 18:
150 goudes

Directions: Take Route National 2 to Leogane. In
Leogane get off at the
Dabòn intersection and take a tap-tap to Dabòn. Get
off at the Dabòn
market.
Ask anyone to show you where to find Lafontan
(everyone in Dabòn knows
it).
If you are coming from Port-au-Prince, you will come
upon the Dabòn
intersection before you enter Leogane. If you are
coming from the south
you
will find the Dabòn intersection after the police
station.

We estimate we will have around 80 people already
familiar with
Reflection
Circle (Wonn Refleksyon) and Open Space (Espas Ouvri)
methodology who
will
participate in the meeting, including people from
Leogane, Dabòn,
Lagonav,
O’Cay, Port-au-Prince, and the Central Plateau.

To R.S.V.P., contact Abnè or Eznè (if you are in
Lagonav), PAPE or
Frantzie
(if you are in O’Cayes), Frèmy Cèsar at 409-0192 (if
you are in
Port-au-Prince or Dabòn), or you can stop by the Rasin
Lespwa library
in
Dabòn or write them at the follow address:

We hope all who interested in the progress of
education will come join
us in
this activity. We are certain it will be a fruitful
opportunity to
learn
from each another. We hope to see you there!
