Hello, dear colleagues -

Thanks, Artur and Holger, this is important to keep in mind, as so many
of us are independent workers (not connected to organizations with
ongoing salary and vacation pay and such) so it is good to note when in
the calendar work flows.  I didn't think about that until you raised it;
the same may be true in other regions.

To add to our thinking, my experience helping behind the scenes as
Access Queen for the last few OSonOS's is that the cost burden to the
*host* is a very important focus. They're the ones who have to put out
the money for things in advance such as accommodation preparations or
food services. Each year we don't know if we (collectively) have enough
money to cover expenses of an OSonOS (or have any extra to help offer
lower registration costs to some Access Queen Askers) until sometimes
even when it is over. I'm sure past hosts can inform this more than
I... Of course it always works out, and we always know it will. But
it's something to keep in mind if the costs of putting this on in the
different hotel seasons (as well as monsoon seasons) affects our
timing...

My 0.133719 Danish Kroner
        0.166224 Swedish Kronor
(the equivalent to 2 cents in honor of our Swenmark OSonOS)

Lisa

2. Professional life almost stops in Europe in August, then begins to
recover gradually in September
(but is still bellow 100%) and after 1/October it suddently grows to
some
150%.

If there is a need to change, I would suggest that it would be better to
anticipate to the first quarter of September than to delay to what I see
as
the worst possible period for working Europeans.
