Tibetan bells on airplanes?

Jeff,

Not lately, because I pack them in checked luggage.

I started doing this a couple of years ago when the pre- 9/11 security
screeners always made me take them out and show what they were.  They were
apparently trained to be suspicious of anything round.  Don't know why.
