Tibetan bells on airplanes?

Here's an "only on OSLIST" query:

Has anybody had any trouble taking Tibetan bells onto an airplane in the US
these days?

I'm flying tomorrow morning (California time) for the first time this
year... I'm certain this is only a way for me to avoid worry about more
important things, like forgetting my ticket...
