Some suggestions please

If you have 2000 acres -- and the weather is reasonable (wherever you are
going to be) I'd think about a Tent -- or if the weather is really good...
just do it in the open air. You will need to build a "Wall" and a good PA
system is essential -- but if you are going to do an Open Space -- why not
in the wide open spaces. I had more or less the same issue/problem in
Venezuela. Lot of folks and no "place" -- this was the sugar mill I wrote
about just recently. Anyhow, we bush whacked a cane field -- brought in a
large tent -- will little tents for the break out room. Another thought --
if this university looks like lots of them with a quadrangle -- do it in
the center of the quadrangle, and the surrounding buildings would supply
the break out rooms. I sure as the devil would try for all at once rather
than 6 separate ones. I guess you could do it, but I think it would be a
nightmare.
