Collaborateur

Collaborateur is a wonderful word and I wish I'd thought of it.

Until a few years ago you couldn't use the word 'collaboration' (etc.)
without the risk of reminding people of World War 2 and collaborating with
the enemy. This was a great shame, because what word do you use instead?

Fortunately, the US was never occupied (neither was the UK, but we are very
geographically close to countries such as France which were) and
collaboration never acquired this negative meaning. Now, thanks to our
American friends, we've reclaimed the word. It's in widespread use in the UK
these days.

Co-creation, on the other hand, may take a little longer!

Come on you Yanks ... what are you waiting for?

(Just kidding.)
