Terry--

One quick suggestion, from my experience in an Open Space of about 600
participants. We were in a room with only one truly usable wall--a long one,
but not long enough for such a large group.

The effect of this was that many posters were stacked in the same vertical
space, and participants were ten-deep at the Bulletin Board, with long waits
to see where the session you wanted was being held.

So, my suggestion is to allow for LOTS of wall space. And maybe a couple of
people to stand by with tape and pens.

Otherwise the logistics were not difficult. We convened in concentric
circles of chairs in a large hotel ballroom, the process of announcing and
posting sessions worked well, we had some breakout rooms and more small
breakout spaces in corridors and lobbies--marked by flags with a large
letter, on some kind of portable stand.

Good luck to you--sounds like a lot of fun.
