We need to consider who would administer such a fund and who would decide on

Laurel,

I know you said start the conversation about what's to be done with any
excess funds after the conference but I've got such a good idea that I want
to put it out now!!

How about using any excess funds to support people who might not be able to
go to OSonOS X?  We could start a revolving fund from year to year.
