Unusual design for OST event

Dear Jeff,
The gathering to share best practices sounds very promising.
few thoughts:
1. Is there a steering comity?
From my experience when a gathering is composed from several parts, one of
which is an open space, the sponsor can be aware of their role to enable
'soft flow' and generative continuity along the line. Steering comity had
worked for me.
2. To watch for "space slammers"
My experience was that when an OS part came first there was an Open space
spirit in everything that came latter but the sponsor and I helped it happen
by watching at the rest of the activities not to be "slamming and shutting"
the spirit and the sense of space and opportunities.
What I try to offer hear is that you see if the preceding parts leave
space for exchange and human generoucity. If not I would try to negotiate it
with the sponsor through razing awarnes.
blessings
Tova
