OS/Playback Theatre : Chris Weaver

Dear Chris
In Auckland, last year, there was a full evening playback theatre affair
on the Friday evening and then we set out to open the space on Saturday
morning.
>>From my experience as the space person, I reckon it would be much better
to have opened the space and then allowed the playback theatre bit to
emerge when/as seemed appropriate. It ended up feeling like two
separate programs - though that may have been what the client sought,
anyway. The P/T thing was excellent, but it just didn't relate to the
theme of the OST program - in my view - and it so easily could have if
we had opened space first and got the market place going and all, I
hunch.
Hope it goes really well for you, of course.
Cheers and blessings, Fr Brian S. Bainbridge, Melbourne Australia.
