'Riding the Wave of Culture: Understanding Cultural Diversity in Business'
by Fons Trompenaars and Charles Hampden-Turner
is a remarkable book which you may helpful for your purposes.

A namesake, Valerie Stewart, writes: "It's brilliant, and goes into places
which one wouldn't have thought matter, and
do. Basically it's lots of different ways of describing cultures (e.g.
attitudes to time, guilt vs. shame, where does loyalty lie when the chips
are down, etc.). ... Also it has loads of practical tips for overcoming the
barriers."

Good to converse
