Dear Laura,
I'm sad to hear of your situation.
My suggestion is to hold the event, and then allow the participants to
decide when "it's over." I'm sure they will be happy to talk together for
awhile! You might have a closing circle on the first evening and ask if
people want to continue the next day; or, say that there WILL be an opening
circle the next day, and then be prepared for whoever comes!
I've done open spaces with less than 10 people which lasted a whole day, so
I would not be surprised with any outcome!
