Hi there,

I went to the TMN site ― need to register and I will at another time. So I am attaching here something I offered to the space during my original open space training with Birgitt....... quite personal and yet it arose in the space....

One Woman's Mid-Life Textures

Landscapes are altered
by human touch
rough edges ― smooth sides
urban renewal is conceptual.

Worn comfortable paths in the forest
amiless wandering on a summer's day
dare to step off the path
into dense, skin-ripping,
birttle, disoriented experience
why the need to be on edge?

People talking along city streets
smiles line the mouth and eyes
worries gather between the brows
A face that has know some weathers

Rugged coast line
embraced by soft moss
coarse rocks worn smooth
by wind and water
texturs blend ..... join
form ...... formless
change in a heartbeat,
soft summer rain soaks ....
the cracked dry edge is gone
where's the difference?

Rich, gooey landscpaes of life
no problems, no issues
the lake does not invite us
to sink into its depths.

The companion I've known
for over 30 years
prepares to leave
I feel her restless sitrrings
the way her attention wanders
how irregular she has become

Mindful of the water
that follows without question
the ancient river's channel
as my blood thickens
reproduction ceases
fertility of life remains
she is not leaving
we are arriving.
