Thanks for your suggestion, and i will go that website.

But please tell me, was there something I said in my e-mail request that
implied I was seeking help specifically for start-up groups?

Yep Ralph:

I've used rocks, feathers, TV Changers, logs, flowers, pine cones, a
president's gavel, rattles (Cree):  Whatever is appropriate to the group,
the situation and the spirit that  is present.  These usually make
themselves known to me as I walk around the area where the OS is being held.
That is why I now prefer the term talking piece as many objects can play the
role and symbolize something important to me or the group.
