Hello colleagues!

I have enjoyed the ongoing conversation on this list for a couple of years,
having learned a great amount for both my professional and spiritual life.
So this request is going to be of a personal, not professional nature.

?m delighted to be getting married in late April and knowing that this is
a creative and contemplative crowd I am hoping you can help me in my search
for a couple of passages (prose, poetry, or something else) to be read by
friends in the wedding ceremony. I am looking for suggestions in two areas:

1)   love (of course!)
2)   celebrating difference (I?m white and a ?yankee?; she?s
African-American and from ?dixie?)

Does anybody have any favorites that they might share with me privately
that I can track down? I would greatly, greatly appreciate your ideas!
