Egroups: A clarification

While there have been several messages in support of a switch to egroups,
there have been a significant number that have expressed concerns over
being limited to reading messages only over the web.  In fact, egroups
gives you the option of receiving messages via email or reading them only
at the website, or both.  The default option is for all members to receive
messages by email -- this mode makes it exactly equivalent to LISTSERV.

All other features are a bonus.
