Thomas:
You might glean some useful stuff from the archives from January when I
was struggling with the same question around following up a community OS
that I ran. There was some quite direct advice that saved my bacon.
There is a real challange for sponsors with money and power to be honest
with those that don't have it and not simply try to use the OS for
optics. I'm not suggesting that this will happen in this case, but it's
worth preparing the sponsors for what they're getting themselves into by
taking them through a very deep process of exploring the givens for the
meeting. After that they should know what kind of space can be opened
and what to tell the group about follow up.
Good luck, and please let us know how it turns out.

hello folks,
i've had this request come in from someone locally. anybody
got any stories or references to share? i know lucent has
done some things here and will be able to set him up with
that reference. i'll review the 'at work' issue, too,
because i remember there's a software story there. any
others come to mind? it would be a big help. many thanks, michael

>Chicagoland area contacts are preferred. Repeated use is
also a good thing.
>I'm about to seed the idea within my organization and would
like references.
>Thank you for any help you can offer at this phase.
