Here's an invitation to a daylong OS we're having next month, offered as a
"sample invitation", as an "opening for feedback & conversation on the
list", as a "sample topic forwarded to both oslists", and as an invitation
to an open space if you're in the neighborhood... Jeff (thanks Beth
Meredith)

How can YOU make a difference?

THE LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
FOR ECOLOGY AND THE ECONOMY
invites you to a

COMMUNITY FORUM on
LAND USE AND TRANSPORTATION

SATURDAY, JULY 15TH

Petaluma Community Center
320 North McDowell (see directions below)
9 am (starts promptly) - 5:30 pm

This all day event will offer you a chance to talk with others about the land
use and transportation issues that matter to you and discuss what actions
you might take towards realizing a brighter future for Sonoma County.
Everyone will be invited to express their views, share information, learn
from others and strategize about next steps. A summary of the proceedings
will be made available to all who attend.

The Community Forum will use a meeting method known as "Open Space." This is a
proven way for people to come together for meaningful discussion. You will
have the freedom to move in and out of discussions based on your interests.
Open Space also provides a framework that encourages action. No previous
experience is required. All we ask is that you come prepared to be
surprised.

*Donation of $15 requested, No one turned away for lack of funds.
*Registration will be at the door.
*Bring a lunch to eat in the park, or walk to one of the nearby
restaurants.
*For more information, contact Beth Meredith at 707 763-1532,
