My daughter and several of her friends bent spoons as a dare/game when they
were quite young (8 or 9?). Later, the thought became too scary, and she
denied doing it, or admitted doing it by force only (not possible).

A few years later (age 14?) we revisited it together - she could still do
it, although with somewhat less ease. I have always observed that her own
inner connections were quite deep.

I myself haven't tried  (although maybe I should after meditating?) - but I
have observed and know it to be true.
