I have yet to see break out session close the door of their rooms. I don't
give that specific instruction, it just never happens.

I try to avoid breakout rooms. I don´t like the idea of people closing a
door behind them. It makes it much more difficult or at least inconvenient
to be a bumblebee or to use the law of two feet.
Open Space facilities should be OPEN. Preferably in one big room, or
better, a big room with smaller places adjacent. The library in Edinburgh
sounds wonderful with lots of nisches for small groups. We have been in
icehockeyhalls and dancepalaces.
No problem with the sound, people tend to go round the circle and listen
carefully to each other. The only problem is when the room is too small for
this or is made by hard materials like stone and wood and without any
textiles.
