Hi Dylene:

I don't recall a response to this query, so here goes:
I think the situation you described could be an ideal time to work with Open
Space.

My experience with using Open Space with a start-up is that using it twice
for two days a year apart has has an enormous impact on the culture of the
organization.
The control types are becoming more generative, and the generative types are
becoming more action oriented. They are meeting in the middle.

Also, they are a technologically savvy company, and geographically dispersed.
Their experience in Open Space is preparing them to relate in cyberspace, as
they build their intranet.

My only question would be - do they have enough people to supply the energy.
My group had 30 the first year, and 50 the next. If not, you may want to
invite some customers and suppliers, or do that anyway!

Good luck!

Jay
