Is it possible for an organization to begin operation with
>OS, and what are the challenges?

I think it is totally possible. Where else would you start but with nothing? It
is all Open Space at the beginning of any organization -- so why not do it for
real (in Open Space?) As for control -- if your guy really thinks he has it, or
could get it -- lots of luck. What he can do is created a nutrient environment
in which the organization will grow. Not simple, but definitely possible. Of
course, if you set tight controls, and seek to impose them -- guess what --the
Open Space is closed. Birgitt has some useful experience and ideas. Come in
Birgitt!
