            I couldn't see an easy way to see the count via the
            Archives. But looking at my own stash of the emails, I
            counted 42.9k messages since the first one in December of
            1996 back in the old Boise State University LISTSERV (<a href="mailto:OSLIST@IDBSU.IDBSU.EDU">OSLIST@IDBSU.IDBSU.EDU</a>) days.<br>
