The main room also serves as butterfly space during sessions. We send the ticket to all participants in advance, with some simple directions for how to use them, and also put the ticket with all links in the chat of the main room and on a digital wall, e.g. Stormboard. This wall can also be used for displaying posters with the rules and law of two feet, for agenda setting and as News wall with all the reports. A wall with unlimited size. Thing is that all participants have to make an account to be able to work on this wall. Just invite them to do this before the meeting.<o:p></o:p></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Using two screens allows for seeing the session and working on the wall. If you have only one screen: use ‘split windows’, and you get the same effect, only a bit smaller.<o:p></o:p></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Tip: When you make an account on stormboard.com, select ‘account for education’. Otherwise you have to pay something like 8 dollars per month per participant of a board. For most subsessions this will be enough though, and it is also less tiring not seeing 100 faces or more on a screen in the main room. It is a little tedious because the original Host must go through the Participant list and one-by-one make each person a Host, but if your partner is Opening Circle, then you can do this in the background. When sessions are posted, folks then select the appropriate breakout to join (just like a Host). To use their two feet, they leave the breakout room, end up in the main room, then butterfly or bumble bee. The caveat here is to not select “Leave Meeting” because you’ll be taken out of Zoom have to click back in; just click “Leave Room”. I’ve only tried it this one time and it seemed to work well.
