I leave public trainings to the Melbourne folks but I am an Anglican priest and this is an in-house job for the Anglican church. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The week before I am attending the Colloquium on Religion and Violence in Melbourne which is being held this year at the Australian Catholic University. This conference follows the work of Rene Girard. I will be doing an afternoon session speculating on why Open Space seems to work as The Practice of Peace, viewed through the lens of Rene Girard’s theories of mimetic desire and conflict.
