<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">In July 2011 Helvetas and Intercooperation formed
HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, a non for profit organization that works in
several countries, Bolivia among them.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">At this time, this organization is calling for
proposals in order to develop an "innovative" gathering of about 150
people with the objective of positioning the institution and its name.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">As a result, the
organization expects to increase the number of partnerships with local
stakeholders and beneficiary groups as well as reinforcing the existing
alliances. Deadline for submitting proposals is next May 5. <u>This gathering
will probably be held during the first half of November this year and is
expected to last between 1,5 to 2 hours with some parallel/supplementary
activities that would not exceed 2 additional hours.</u> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The list of
participants includes partners, directors, technicians, and staff members of
the organization; as external participants: beneficiaries, authorities,
stakeholders, possible donors, and media people.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">The calling also
points out the need to motivate and foster enthusiasm among participants.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">My reasoning</span></u></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">To my best
understanding, this situation is ideal to suggest OST, despite some evident
questionings, which I hope to resolve with your valuable help.</span></p>
<p class="" style="margin-left:18pt"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">1.<span style="font-stretch:normal;font-size:7pt;line-height:normal;font-family:'Times New Roman'"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">There are six months from May 5 to November. I think
to suggest a communicational program for informing external participants about
the organization, its work in Bolivia, the programs they are supporting,
results, and expectations about the future. This program and activities in the
next paragraph would replace the parallel/supplementary activities mentioned
before.</span></p>
<p class="" style="margin-left:18pt"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">2.<span style="font-stretch:normal;font-size:7pt;line-height:normal;font-family:'Times New Roman'"> </span></span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:12pt;line-height:115%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif">To complement this preparation work, during this time
I think could have meetings with internal participants in order to gather
additional information and comments.</span></p>

would be “How to strengthen HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation’s presence in
Bolivia? – An appreciative approach”.</span></p>

progress I would distribute worksheets to write down agreements and timeframes
indicating people in charge.</span></p>
