is Open Space Technology (OST)?</font></font></h2>

effective, holistic, and low-cost way of conducting meetings,
conferences, forums, and other learning processes for groups of 10 to
1000 or more in size, from 4 hours to several days in length.</font></font></h2>

the past 20 years, OST has been used in 124 countries, hundreds of
thousands of times, and for many different purposes such as strategic

Aftandelian</u></span></font><font face="Georgia, serif">
</font><font face="Georgia, serif">(San Diego, USA) is a
facilitator, consultant, and trainer specializing in holistic group
work approaches. With extensive international experience as a
facilitator, he has worked with prison inmates, psychologists,
corporate trainers, civil servants, refugees, and many other groups.
As an active member of the international community of OST
facilitators since 2001, he co-hosted the 14th annual international
Open Space on Open Space practitioner conference (Moscow, 2006). He
has a BA in Soviet Studies from UC-Berkeley and speaks Russian,
French, and Farsi.</font><font face="Georgia, serif">
