"Research methods" are things like lab research, field<br>research, qualitative research, unobtrusive methods i.e. ways of collecting data<br>to study behavior.<br><br>Focus groups, Delphi, and yes, even Open Space are methods used for specific<br>purposes in organizations (and elsewhere). They are not research methods. And<br>yes, there has been research employing focus groups, Delphi, etc in order to<br>study some behavior or outcome.<br><br>It's may be difficult to create a good research study using Open Space but I<br>imagine it may already exist or could be done.
