I've done OS with Univ. of Chicago Biology Dept. twice, and with Fred
Hutchinson Cancer REsearch Ctr. twice. If I can be helpful, please let me
know. They are the SAME as any other institution: need ALL
stakeholders in the room, and need a CORE group that is convening and
responsible for followup, and so forth.

The main issue is that
they are likely to rely on their heads/intellect--when what they are actually
doing is providing heartful healing environments. So, I strongly suggest
you start with a round of Appreciative Inquiry in pairs, to get them out
of their heads and expressing what they truly care about. And/or a World
cafe on their personal experience of the Question of the OST then open
Marketplace.

Good luck. Let me know if I can help
further.

Anne

class=gmail_quote>Lisa, you mention a book about knowledge sharing Open Space
or Open
Space in university settings. In what aspects is it different from
any
other Open Space? I have been asked to facilitate a knowledge
sharing
event on healthcare. I'm having a discussion with them on them
next
Monday, so I am really interested to know from more experienced
people
what I should take into account when doing the open space on
knowledge
sharing.

Warm regards

Dicky
