You sign up there and list your other sm sites. When you post to Friendfeed, it then sends the same item to the others - not all but certainly Facebook and Twitter and quite a few others. If you bookmark through an account of Delicious, it will pop up on Friendfeed - same for Stumbleupon. So it can become an aggregator as well as disseminator of posts. If you use Google Reader it will take your shared sites and post those as well, and that saves a lot of time in circulating useful stories and sites you want friends to know about.</div><div><br></div><div>I think you also, though, have to choose which one or two SM sites to make focus on in order to get the most out of them. I'm going to focus on Twitter for a while to see how I can make it work. Even tho (or maybe because) they can be the same thing! This also explains why I have not responded to some on this list who asked to follow my tweets.
