Open Space in the last 10+ years has been in indigenous communities in North
America.  The client I am working for at the moment, The National Centre
for First Nations Governenace, is using Open Space as a key tool for engaging
with communities and developing strategies for the implementation of Aboriginal
rights and title.  My colleagues Chris Robertson, Sheldon Tetreault Pawa
Haiyupis, Brenna Clark and Jon Swanson have been using Open Space for a number
of years now with the Centre and recently I came across a paper that Jon wrote
for the Journal of Aboriginal Management called "A Model For Aboriginal
Facilitation."  Worth a read I think if you are working with indigenous
communities, or are interested in the application of Open Space in our
communities:<br>
