held OSonOS has been virtually destroyed by fire. News reports are saying

times for everyone associated with this lovely country town and its region not
far from <ST1:CITY w:st="on"><ST1:PLACE
w:st="on">Melbourne</ST1:PLACE></ST1:CITY>. Fr Brian and his committee made
the inspired decision to stage the first WOS in <ST1:PLACE
w:st="on"><ST1:COUNTRY-REGION
w:st="on">Australia</ST1:COUNTRY-REGION></ST1:PLACE> in the beautiful
Marylands Hotel close to the town. For much joy was experienced both in the
formally opened space and in the associated activities. Among these, as Larry
has mentioned, were night walks in the surrounding forests to spot possums and
other tree dwelling animals. </FONT></BIG></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><BIG><FONT face="Times New Roman, Times, serif">My thoughts
go to those who have suffered such terrible personal devastation and loss and
to all the people of <ST1:COUNTRY-REGION w:st="on"><ST1:PLACE
w:st="on">Australia</ST1:PLACE></ST1:COUNTRY-REGION>. </FONT></BIG></P>
