while now and have been struck by your common believe in OS and its underlying
principles, your wide experience and willingness to share it, the positive
intentions and the warmness of the interaction. Until now I have been a
‘passive participant’ to the list. With the discussion on hunger, I
can no longer resist to share my thoughts.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>First a short introduction of myself: I
live in the Netherlands and work as a ‘behavioral change
architect’. I am working from the believe that lasting change requires
behavioural change and that chances on lasting behavioral change can be significantly
increased:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

initiative is translated into a practical behavioral level: who should be doing
what to realize …. So this includes getting clearity about

ones that should execute the behavior, the ones responsible for the execution,

that ensures lasting focus on the subject, but does not have a ‘personal stake’

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>It cannot be a surprise then that I am
interested in any (small or large scale) interventions (like OS), that can help
in this.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Back to world hunger from the perspective
of a behavioral change architect:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

hunger participating, seems useless. Only somebody hungry can describe what he
(thinks he) needs to get out of hunger.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

initiatives from the outside (people not hungry) can be helpful, but will only
have a chance on lasting success if they are based on a true understanding of
the one(s) with hunger and are executed by / from the perspective of the
hungry.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

hunger? Is it money? I don’t think so. I would guess there are enough people
able to share some of their own wealth to provide the money required to save
another world citizen from hunger. I would be very happy if I could do just
that: helping just one single man/woman/child out of hunger. Whether it is by
money of anything else.  <o:p></o:p></span></p>

kind of help this man needs and unfortunately I am not in any direct contact with
the one hungry to ask / discuss (in true, respectful dialogue) how I can help.  <o:p></o:p></span></p>

scale and I guess Opening space in some way could help in getting the required interaction
going. I am not yet clear in what way. Opening space via internet will probably

<p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>So my question to all OS-specialists out
there: how can we open space between the hungry and the ones willing and

initiatives will stick to the category of ‘fundraisers’.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
